Help needed on finding "scholarly" research articles for a paper...

OK, new & much more researchable topic:

Female Duality (or Portrayal of the Chinese Female) in Maxine Hong Kingston’s “The Woman Warrior”

The title may need to be restated later on but this is what I've written so far expanding on that a little:

There are two distinct roles that Chinese women play in Maxine Hong Kingston’s “The Woman Warrior”. One is that of the submissive, timid and conservative housewife, mother or servant. The other is quite the opposite – brave, strong and powerful, this archetype can go on to become a doctor or warrior. Occasionally, Kingston blends the lines by portraying the presence of both roles in one woman.

If anyone familiar with MLA formating would be interested in proofing my paper when I'm finished please let me know - I would really appreciate it! :)

I love "Like Water for Chocolate" too - great book! The movie was really disappointing to me.

YAY, I just finished my rough draft! It always feels good to have that completed! I am sure I have a ton of errors to correct though so thank goodness my teacher gave me a 1 day extension! I just sent it off to JenniferLynn to have her proof it for me (thanks so much Jenn!).

Thanks to you all for offering your suggestions and help grouphug.gif

For now, a little break - I'm off to play Mario Kart! cheesy.gif

It was required for 9th grade English at my school, I had to write a paper on it too but I have no idea what the topic was! I did enjoy the book though.
