How is all of that going, by the way? Any news from your boss?
That is too funny! rofl.gif

Yeah Steph, if they are covering for you then bring them back a gift from Mexico!

I asked about your wedding party because if the co worker is planning the bach party, I wouldn't want your sis to get offended.

Yeah - any news from the Chief? popcorn.gif

No news from the bosses yet. I am guessing maybe next week. It is killing me!!!! Thanks for asking!

My sister lives over 300miles away so her planning a bachelorette party anyway is kind of logistically hard. I wasnt even expecting one but this all just kind of fell into place. We all had wanted to go to this place (The Baton Club) which is a drag queen dance revue kind of thing so this is a great excuse to go!

Oh - yeah, I see what you mean about your sis. However, a Drag Queen show DOES sound fun!

I told my girls I wanted to go to an all male revue for my BP. It is so TOTALLY out of my character - I told them I want to go, but DO NOT put me on stage in front of some half naked gyrating man and we can not sit in the front rows! I will go as a spectator - not a participant!

I think it will be a blast! My FI used to run nightclubs and at one they had a Drag Queen show - he said it was a blast! Sounds like fun!

OH NO CELINA!!!!!! You are more daring then I!!! Something about some oily mostly naked guy with a bulge in his drawers (who really knows how real that is) coming at me just doesnt do it for me!!!! You need to do a few shots first!!

I hope you all have a great weekend! I am off to my sister's house in our state capital of Springfield (300miles from me) to celebrate my nieces bday. But we are going to go order my sisters dress and work on the flower girls DIY flip flops while we are there.

Doctor today said MRI shows scar tissue from my last surgery in my nerve root. So I have to have a procedure called a Caudal Epidural Adhesionolysis where he goes in through a scope and breaks up the scar tissue. Hopefully this will solve this problem!!

Have a great weekend ladies!!

How was everyone's weekends? I am back from an exhausting weekend in the city 2 hrs away. I had to go help my MOH move from her apt in the city to her bros place 20 mins out of the city. He got a job in the states where he will be there for 3 wks and here for 1 wk so he is paying the rent and she pays the bills. This way it is more worthwhile of him keeping his place, and it saves her loads of $$$ too.

I think this weekend I got enough cardio to cover the month! LOL.

Now I am home and glad to see my kids. This was the longest that I have been away from them, and it was hard, but I was keeping very busy so that definately helped!!

I hope everything works out for you. It sounds like you have been going through hell.

The only wedding related things I did this weekend was pick up FI's wedding band, and ordered necklaces and earrings for my BMs and flower girl. My cousin makes jewelry so she is making them for me. I will post pics of them when she's done. I got immodium and advil from Sam's for OOT bags. I'm estimating 30 bags right now, but I'm waiting to order the bags or cooler (haven't decided which yet) until I know the exact guest count. I figured if I bought too much extra we can put doubles of stuff in the bags.

We have received 8 RSVPs so far, unfortunately most of them are from the people who already booked their trips so I knew they were coming anyway. I did get a couple from extended family that are not coming. Those are the ones I am waiting to get since I haven't heard anything from a lot of the extended family and just want to get them crossed off my list if they don't plan on coming. I don't think most of them will come, but you never know who may decide to show up.

Hi girls! Can you believe that November is coming SOOO FAST? OMG!

Luckily for me, I had to stay inside all weekend - got a rash from this sunscreen and thus couldn't be out in the sun! - which turned out to be good because I actually got a lot of stuff checked off my list.

I made my wedding timeline cards. Bought some potential paper to print them on. Finalized up some OOT bag decisions and shopped for some post wedding clothes. Fun stuff!

I wish we had a membership to Sams! We tried Costco to fill the OOT bags, but didn't walk out with a single thing. It's not very condusive to OOT bag filling.

How did the flip flops come out? OMG about your back - Oh Steph, I hope this works. That is SO terrible - I can't imagine the pain you are in. Feel better soon! When do you go back in?

I will be doing the same thing for my MOH in the next couple of weeks. She is moving from CO Springs to Denver. I bet the kiddos were happy to see you!

Sorry about your rash - that sucks! At least you know not to use it again! I LOVE shopping for post wedding clothes! I am always on the lookout! You can get a day pass at Sam's. Just go to the service desk and ask for one.

I felt like our weekend was a blur - FI went golfing with the guys Saturday morning and I had to get everything ready for them when they came home and ate afterwards. Saturday night was a blur - yesterday I had to go shopping for gifts for a babyshower I missed the weekend before and I did find some good deals at Old Navy. We went to dinner at FI's aunts house and came home.

I think the only wedding related stuff I got done was I decided NOT to have my FI's aunt do the corsages for the wedding. I showed her the flowers and supplies I bought and she was like, "I need some tulle to put around the flowers to kind of bunch it up." I was like WTH are you talking about? We had two different visions in two different decades - she was stuck somewhere in 1980 and I was not. LOL!!

I also got my 2nd BM's tank top so I can get the tanks done.

This afternoon we get our much anticipated home visit from the social worker. After this is over we can hopefully be done with that whole ordeal!
