Question about vendors & food/dinner

We really only hav one vendor coming from afar with us to Mexico...and that is our photographer.

When and where does the photographer typically eat dinner?

We're getting married at Dreams. Do I have to reserve an extra plate for my photographer since it is an all inclusive?

What did you guys do? I feel bad because our wedding is super small (12 people) so I don't really want her eating with us since we only have one long table, but at the same time, I want to make sure she gets to eat etc?

Just a couple of questions...

How many hours coverage will the photographer be providing?

How long will they be staying after dinner?

Maybe since it's AI, you could say that you will give them a break during dinner so they can go grab something to eat. But...even that break should be factored into their overall time...not deducted from.

we are bringing our photographer with us also. I was just planning on having him join us. He will be shooting for 6 days. By that time I think he will be part of the group.

Our photog is coming the day before and leaving the day after the wedding.

She said she was ours for the entire day if we wanted.

We'll the ceremony is at 5PM so she'll probably start around 4 to take getting ready photos, etc.

Our reception dinner isn't until 8PM because FI and I wanted some extra time to take photos alone.

Your photographer might appreciate a little bit of down time - and nobody wants photos while they are eating. If you are close to a place where he/she can get some food from the buffet - maybe give them 45 minutes to go eat while you all enjoy your meal.

if I was a photographer, I'd probably want down time to grab food on my own & relax. Especially since she is just there that one day. Small talk with people you don't know is exausting.

if she was with you longer & was like a part of the group then joining you for dinner might be better.

I'd give her the option.

Our photog ate on her own- our dinner was a buffet. I'm not sure if I was charged for her to eat or not.

She took a few pics while we were eating but she and her assitant made sure to eat. They had a table off by themselves.

This is a good question - Mark & Gwyne from the forum are our photogs and i was going to sit them at a table with our guests - they are coming for the whole trip!
