What a busy weekend you had. Hopefully your daughters hair will grow back enough that it won't look too bad for the wedding. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

This weekend I was working and trying to get back into the swing of things after being off for over a year. Now I am working evenings today and tomorrow. Which reminds me, I should get some stuff done around here before I have to get ready for work.

OMG Celina! I cant believe your daughter, that is funny (not really but kinda a little bit). What are you going to do? How old is she again? I have been taking the vitamin Biotin to get my hair to grow quicker so maybe that if her doc says that is ok for kids?

Ouch on your shins!! Yikes!

Danielle, glad you got that registering over with. Although it starts off fun it ends up kind of hard work in my eyes.

Anyone else kind of writing their ceremony? I decided to put pieces of ones I liked together for ours. Cuz I needed more stress in my life, what the heck!?!?!

I'm not writing my ceremony. I would have no idea where to start or what to say, i can just imagine myself stressing over it. Your a lot braver than me Steph.

Celina - At least you got a nice workout with all that yard work. I really need to pull some weeds. So there's no way you can maneuver your daughter's hair to coverup her bald spot? I really hope it grows back.

I am so intimidated by scrapbooking! Maybe after the wedding is over I can start and take a class. Kudos to you for going - it sounds fun!

When I was done yelling at her and she was crying - I just started to laugh because I sounded just like a mom! I just said, "Oh well Jada, its your hair and your body. If you want a bald spot - whatever! Ultimately you are the one who has to live with it". I told her to start carrying a barette or bobby pin in her pocket for times like that. I know how frustrating it is when you are having a bad hair day. Kids are so cruel - so although I am mad about it, I can empathize with her - it's hard being a kid these days. BTW she is 10 years old. Yeah, I am going to try to find something that may help her. Some vitamins may help.

You are brave for writing your ceremony. My problem is I like them all! I like the hand ceremony, the sand ceremony and I can't figure where to even start!

She is the one dealing with her hair do. She won't let me comb her hair anymore so I let her deal with it. Her teacher and I have noticed that the kids in 5th grade are now acting like the kids we knew in 7th grade. They are maturing so fast. It is SO hard being a parent these days.

You daughter sounds like my niece as far as doesnt want anyone touching her hair. But her aunt can get away with it a little more then mom.

As far as the ceremony goes, I found out the basic outline (welcome, sermon about love, response, exchange of vows, blessing of rings, exchange of rings, and pronouncement). Then I just started researching different versions and am cutting and pasting it. I would like our vows to be self written but we will see how that goes.
