Cool Rehearsal Dinner Restaurant in PV??

Hello!

I'm heading to PV this weekend to check out locations for the ceremony, rehearsal dinner, etc.

 

I'm hoping to find a great location for the rehearsal dinner, and would like either a beachy, tropical, fun feel, or something that is trendy and cool.

 

Any suggestions?

Search the PV section, there have been lots of discussions on restaurants for rehearsal or welcome dinners. I always suggest Barcelona Tapas and have talked about it extensively in other threads

Personally, I'm having my welcome dinner at Barcelona Tapas. Great food. Do know they only take cash, AmEx or travelers checks. Have been there several times, never disappointed.

Also, on my last trip down there last week, we went to Hacienda San Angel. The most amazing food and location! Just gorgeous.

My fiance and I went to Barcelona Tapas when we were there in 06 - great restaurant and atmosphere. We also went to a really great restaurant in the downtown area and got to sit right on the beach in the sand! I can't for the life of me remember the name though - I'll keep searching through my stuff.

 

Also, while there, if you get to go to La Bodeguita Del Medio - DO IT! Amazing Cuban restaurant that has the best mojitos anywhere and great live music. (There is also one in Cuba - if you've seen the newer Miami Vice movie, they race in their speed boat over to Cuba and go to this place for mojitos.)
