My Bridesmaids' Gifts

Recommended Posts

Here is what I did for my bridesmaid's. I had glued each rhinetsone on to make their names and used an iron on template for the palm trees. Each bag had a towel, a bag with toiletries, a wine glass for toasting that I painted and personalized for my MOH, BM, Mom, and Me. I made myself and MOH barefoot sandals.

WOW! Everyone is going to LOVE them! And what great work, thought and love you put into each item!!! Makes it all the more special! I'd love to do glasses like that but I don't think I could keep my hands steady enough to be able to paint/draw something that didn't get all smeared! hahahaha

GREAT job!

The glasses are beautiful!!! Such a cool idea!!
I got them from Michael's. They are with all of the t-shirt decorating stuff. I had a heck of a time finding 4 though. Michael's had slim pickings around here.

I cheated on the bride one. I found a scrapbooking rhinestone thing and just put fabric gen stone glue on it and put in on the bag. Seems to be holding up good.

Where did you get your totes?
Target for $2.50. We found them in the dollar area.

It is actually pretty easy. I just printed a bunch of pics that I found in clip art or on the internet and taped them to the inside of the glass. I tried to keep things simple so there wasn't a lot of detail to mess up. Then I just worked down the rows and made sure where I was going to paint next there wasn't one still wet. The paint dries quick enough that after you get a few done you can rub across it and it won't smear.
