Bless your heart, what a boatload of stress. There really is no excuse that your mom could give that would even be adequate. My only thinking is, at least she told you 3 weeks before the wedding rather than 3 days. Your sister deserves a great big hug.

So, I just read your entire thread on your Mom. I am so sorry you had to go through all that. Then on top of that the cake!!! How is the situation with the now husband?

LOL you poor thing. I guess laugh so you don't cry. Just remember you have your FI and he seems really amazing. That is all you need to concentrate on. Oh well if he is at the wedding. Just ignore him.

The thing that gets me about this whole thing is she says we aren't that close well why can't she see why? I really don't care about being buddy-buddy with her. I have my sisters and that's all that matters.

I feel your pain i have a FMIL exactly the same, she is marrying some freak on May 31st, I refused to go lol, with no thought for her kids, her hubby only died a short time ago!!

The cake will taste better anyway knowing that it was a great feat that it was there! x

oh steph. im so sorry your mom pulled that. totally uncool. so glad your sister stepped up and was able to help you out though, she deserves a huge hug!

And second, holy what the crap kind of exciting bomb ass town do you live in that your Target has a bakery? I am so jealous right now. That's all I need, fresh donuts while buying TP and socks
