We're finishing up the wording on our boarding pass invites & I am curious if anyone mentioned the brides parents on the main page of the invite. For example:

Mr. & Mrs. "Doe" invite you to witness the joining of their daughter, Susan "Doe" to Brad "Smith.......

Since my parents are paying for the ceremony & reception I feel that the wordign should include them, but I don't want to clutter the boarding pass. If anyone else worded theirs this way, I would appreciate if you could post your verbiage.

We have been struggling w/ this as well... I currently have 2 front pages that I am debating about. The first is the "Now Boarding" pass that alot of people have - that list our names, the date, and location stuff. Then I have another one that says something like " Mr & Mrs. Doe and Mr. & Mrs. Johnson invite you to share in the marriage of their children, Sean & Becky,..."

But I feel redundant using both... and can't decide which one I want. I feel like since I'm using the BP as my actual invite I should include the parent bit... but I like the "Now Boarding" as the cover to get the idea across.

I'm using both of our parents' names. If they're paying, it's only fair to include the,. I'm playing with the wording below. It's a bit more formal than most have chosen, but I like it.

This day I will marry my best friend,

The one I laugh with, live for, love.

Kristin Irene,

daughter of Robert & Beverly M_____,

and

Anthony Christopher,

son of George & Kathy A____,

invite you to share with us a celebration of love.

The ceremony will be held at four-thirty in the afternoon

on May twenty-third, two thousand nine

at Pigeon Island on Saint Lucia.

Where they had "together with our parents" you could put "together with our parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Smith" or whatever...
Sarah I see that it says passenger receipt 2 of 4... did they have a front cover or some sort as well?

I like the traditional "Now Boarding" pass that looks more like a boarding pass - but was worried that too much of the info on these sheets would overlap. But I guess now that I think about it, on that front pass there isn't that much actual wedding details. So maybe I'm worrying for nothing.
