Sunglasses during the Ceremony

Recommended Posts

I am beyond dependent on sunglasses. Cloudy, rainy days (not that I know what those are or anything living in AZ) sunny, dusk doesn't matter they don't come off my face until it is literally dark out. I am super worried about having squinty eyes in all of pictures if I don't wear them, but I also don't want to be wearing them during the ceremony. Has anyone else had this problem or are concerned about it? Any suggestions? FI swears he is wearing them during the ceremony, but I think it will tacky. Personally, I think it is also a ploy to cover up his tears msnwink.gif

I'm the same way with sunglasses. I'm really sensitive to light especially after having had laser eye surgery... but I definitely won't be wearing sunglasses for the ceremony nor will FI.... I would rather have a few shots with squinty eyes than with sunglasses and I'm sure you'll still get lots of great non squinty eye shots... IMO it would look better w/o sunglasses :)

i'm worried about it this as well. I am addicted to my sunglasses, i feel like everything is too bright otherwise. I have thought about this, but i know I will just have to deal with it. But the good thing is my FI NEVER wears sunglasses, even when its really bright out, even at the beach. So I guess i can just make him face the sun. I am also thinking about getting married during sunset rather than right before.

I am also worried about squinty eyes. Supposedly very light eyes are very sensitive to the light and sometimes I can't open my eyes in the sunshine! But we def won't be wearing sunglasses for the ceremony. But probably will have a paid close by and in my purse.

I will jsut make sure that the sun is behind me! Hahahaaa

We are definitely wearing them for some of the pictures. That's just us...you never see us without them, people probably wouldn't recognize us without them.

I really like the idea of having the bridal party wear them too, never thought of that.

Do you think you would have not liked your pictures b/c of the sunglass. Or would have been a damned if you damed if you don't situation?

exactly - it was a lose-lose situation!
looking at the pics of the bridal party w/ their sunglasses on makes me feel like the ceremony was more authentically beachy, if you know what i mean....i can't think of another way to describe it...
