danielle, your "friend" sounds like a bitch with a capital B. you have every right to be pissed. i would cut her out. i would NOT do her engagement photos (is she kidding me?) and i wouldnt share ANY wedding related advice or vendors with her. and all i have to say about her not getting her october wedding is HA-serves her right.

A friend is someone who loves, understands and respects you. Your friend doesn't sound like she does has any of the above. I think although its tough sometimes to just let go of a friendship, in life we are faced with all sorts of revelations and we need to adapt. If she doesn't respect you then how could she contribute to your life. Just ask yourself "how does she ADD to my life?" if you can't answer it then I think you should do what alot of other girls on the forum are suggesting, and just let her go. Maybe she needs some time to mature.

I totally agree with this! I went through a situation very similar w/ future SIL so I totally understand why you are upset! You have every right to be upset! I don't know what I am more mad about - that they were talking shit about your man or that she actually thought it would be okay to highjack your wedding AND THEN ask you to do photos. WTF is wrong w/ people?? I think you should def. distance yourself from this *friendship*. She sounds like one of those friends who is a taker - you know what I mean? We all have one! So sorry you are going through this but at least she changed the date THANK GOODNESS!

yeah.....it does suck. she was never like this before, it really wasn't until she and tim had their "fight" before that they were like brother and sister. our friend amanda has become one of the most self righteous person who has all the answers and turns her nose up at anyone who may not have finished college, works a blue collar job, it's even gotten to the point that she is embarrassed to say where she went to high school or where she's from. well amanda has always had an issue with tim....because he was grew up different than us. she's truly a SNOB! i've written her off....but she and rena are very close and i feel like her judgmental ways have rubbed off on rena....

oh well! i am truly blessed to have the friends i do have. i've really learned through out 20's that you really do need to surround yourself with people who are really your friends. it is sad to see friendships end that you had since childhood but at the same time it's really a new beginning with new friends.

i am a true believer that people never change they just get older....maybe my little (bossy) sister was right about some of my friends back in the day...."they're snobs.....i don't like them!" as much as i would never like to admit she's right.....but i really think she might be.
