A La Carte Resorts

I feel like I'm the only bride that has a resort that gives you everything a la carte. I'm paying per plate rather than have a package (and that also includes I get to chose my outside vendors). I wanna know if anyone else chose a resort that you get to chose everything a la carte? I actually like it better bc I don't have any restrictions.

I've heard good things about Le Meridian so hopefully you will have a great wedding there! I am having mine at Hyatt and it is not an all-inclusive and we are doing things somewhat a-la cart. Still worked an inclusive meal/drink plan for my guests. They've been very helpful allowing me great flexibility.

I'm not sure if this is strictly an RM question, but I'm doing a non-package too. I didn't want a package deal. Primarily b/c we are having our ceremony off site and I wanted to find my own band, photog, florist.
