MARVIN GAYE

Your Precious Love

( Feat. Tammi Terrell)

(Nickolas Ashford/Valerie Simpson)

[Marvin:]

Every day there's something new

Honey, to keep me lovin' you

And with every passin' minute

Ah baby, so much joy wrapped up in it

[Chorus:]

[Tammi:] Heaven must have sent you from above

[both:] Wo, heaven must have sent your precious love

[T:]

And I, I've got a song to sing

Tellin' the world about the joy you bring

And you gave me a reason for livin'

And ooo, you taught me, you taught me the meaning of givin'

[Chorus]

[M:] To find a love like ours is rare these days

'Cause you've shown me happiness, yes, in so many ways

[T:] I look in the mirror, and I'm glad to see

Laughter in the eyes where tears used to be

[M:] What you've given me I could never return

'Cause there's so much, girl, I have yet to learn

[T:] And I wanna show, I wanna show my appreciation

'Cause when I found you, I found a new inspiration

[Repeat chorus and fade]

I just discovered that song too, and I am dying to add it somewhere in my playlist. I also like his version of I Melt with You from the 50 First Dates soundtrack - both very beachy!

I am a huge Alica Keys fan and I love that song No One!!! Our first dance song is an old song by Lenny Williams called Cause I love you. We were trying to decide between Cause I love you and Like you'll never see me again by Alica Keys. But Lenny Williams Won! We will definitely have both songs play. Maybe back to back..LOL LOL

I totally for got about this song called "For Real" by Amel Larrieux. It is so beautiful. I teared up when it came on during my random play yesterday and I thought I would post it here....

I can run like a race for hours and hours and don't stop

I can float I can fly us to highest mountain tops

I can breathe you

I can drink in your laugh, I can

l can live on your smile

I can trip and but if I can fall into your arms

I can stay there my whole life

Chorus (Stated Twice)

I can live

I can love

I can be better with you,

For real

I can hear

I can feel

I can see

I can tell,

you are for real

I can stare, I can memorize your face, your hands, your hair

Every part of you,

I can cut off any loose ends and not even wanna keep a few

I can speak to you so honestly

I can't even run any game

I can hear a million angels singing in my ears

When I say your name

Chorus (stated twice)

I can live

I can love

I can be better with you,

For real

I can hear

I can feel

I can see

I can tell,

you are for real

I can't smile, can't dream like a child

Can't feel safe in the wide world without you

I can't go can't disturb this flow

Can't begin to know what I would do

I can't see,

Can't find strength to be

rather not be me without you

I can't deal,

I can't even feel

without you I'm not real

Chorus (stated 4 times)

I can live

I can love

I can be better with you,

For real

I can hear

I can feel

I can see

I can tell

you are for real

I love "At Last" and it would be appropriate for us, seeing that yesterday was our 6-year anniversary1

However, my ex-boyfriend got married on my birthday last year and that was the song they danced to! It doesn't have the same charm...
