Sorry, I know I wasnâ€t clear.

For Provo Crafts (Cricutâ€s) tool – Design Studio. With this program you can weld but you must purchase the cartridges as it checks to make sure you have the cartridge before it cuts.

Provo Craft

This is the software that I was saying cuts true type fonts but will not shadow or weld. Make sure that you download and install the computer driver for the Cricut before trying to use Sure Cuts A Lot

Craft Edge: Scrapbook Software to Cut True Type Fonts and Shapes with Cricut

Inkscape is a free program that you can download. Using this program you can weld and showdown true type fonts and save the files to be loaded into Sure Cuts A Lot to cut

Inkscape. Draw Freely.

Good Luck. I actually love my Cricut and will continue to purchase new cartridges when I see the ones I like, but I also like being able to hook it to my computer and cut any font I want.

That Sure Cuts A Lot software that I was mentioning in my previous post has come out with an update and now it can weld, shadow, and cut chip board (by adding a re-cut feature). Cool stuff. I haven't had much time to play with it but my FH installed and made some cuts. He said it was good.

You can put them out on a coffee table or something. I only have 2 full ones. I'm working on the wedding one now.. I've also been asked to work on one for a co-worker which is fun bc I'll actually get paid to do it wink.gif

I have so many albums at this point Iâ€m not certain how many without counting. I have been scrapbooking for years. I have to laugh when I look at the ones that I did 10 + years ago as compared with the ones Iâ€m doing now. Scrapbooking sure has changed. Now we have so many options to chose from… new papers, stickers, and cool tools like the Cricut. It makes my older albums look very very plain… but I still love them and wouldnâ€t change them. I did what I could with them at the time and still think they are cool.
