I have been working on this necklace ever since I saw the pics from BeckyandBrian's wedding last week! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

It's 6 layers of freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, crystal seed beads, and mother of pearl. I'm going to take it with me next week to my 2nd fitting and decide then if I want to make earrings to match or not. I may also remove one layer, I like odd #s for some reason.

I'm thinking of removing 2 of the chunkier layers now that I have seen it with the dress, haven't decided yet though

Thanks : ) I actually have a small business on the side, but I'm thinking after the wedding is done next month I'm going to start working a bridal collection. This piece was so much fun to make!

I worked on it over the course of several days, but total it was probably about 8-10 hours. A lot of the time was trying to get the length of each strand right so that it would lay in layers. And making several trips to different bead stores to get exactly what I wanted. Totally worth though, I love it! And I plan to wear it lots after the wedding too!

It's a very classy piece that you could wear with any fancy outfit...good choice!
