Invitations Embellishments

I am using the pocket folder for my invites. Does anyone have any ideas for embellishments other than ribbons?

Here is a pic of folder I am using and color. My colors are brown, coral and cream.

How about raffia? or is that a ribbon? Can you tell I am not DIY? Or a starfish stamp or watermark, or a seal with your monogram on it? and maybe its my computer but I dont see a pic

You could do wax seals with a monogram stamper to close them. I just bought a crap-load of tiny palm tree charms off e-bay I need to figure out how to affix them.

You could do jute or raffia, a bellyband of printed paper, something with your monogram; something beaded- I have some gorgeous flat shells I'm using on invitations for someone right now.

Sounds like great ideas. Where is a good place to get that stuff from? Should I check Michael's or JoAnn's Fabrics?

Just go spend some time walking around one of those craft stores (JoAnn's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby)... look at the scrapbook paper, look at the ribbon, look at the beads the wire, etc. Think of what you want your "theme" to be and then look for things that fit into that theme.

I used a rubber stamp and then embossed it with a teal color power on my brown enclosures. It was really easy and looked great on the color!

A monogrammed tag will be nice with some crystals.

You could do a sticker with your logo on it names.

Great post! I'm wondering the same thing about mine. It seems like everything I think of has been done a million times - but then a friend reminded me that almost every idea is new to your guests since they don't spend all day on wedding forums.
