Newbie Mackinac Island Bride

I am getting married on Mackinac Island too! My wedding will be at Stonecliff on the Fourth of July. How about you? Are you using a planner? My fiancee and I live in California and have actually never visited the island, but we are both very excited. His parents are from there and we've heard it's beautiful!

I'm so excited that there is another Mackinac bride. I have not been to the island yet but my fiance has and he says I'll love it. You're so lucky to be getting married in the summer. I hear the flowers are amazing there in the summer.

No I'm not using a planner. I've been doing everything myself. We are not having a big wedding (just 12 people.) We are getting married in St. Anne's church and celebrating at the Hotel Iroquois. Stonecliff is beautiful. I saw an episode on " Whose Wedding is it Anyway" and the bride was getting married there.

Who is doing your flowers? I'm having a hard time with that right now.
