Music took Amy & I a long time, but we had fun with it a couple of weekend nights and eventually nailed down exactly what we wanted. Start working on it now.

We got compliments from at least half of the guests on how great the music was, etc...
Did you do your music for everything? From Ceremony through dinner? I have music for ceremony but didn't know if I needed it to follow. I did want music & don't know how to correlate it for our first dance & when to put that in since we are not doing a private reception? I'm in need of help with some things & not sure what choices to make so everything turns out beautiful as I dream of.

We had music as guests arrived and had appetizers served. Then we showed up. Danced our first dance and some of the other special dances. Some music to get everyone up and going. Slideshow. More music. Cake and desserts. More and more upbeat music as people got crazier and did more shots!!!
This probably answers one of my previous questions & quotes. Now you did the above for a private reception after your ceremony? Or was this done another night. Was this the mexican party or another private event? Sorry for all the questions, trying to make up my mind in the next couple wks so I can put all the plans together & finalize

We made one playlist, had it planned out well with regards to timing and based our eating, drinking, toasts, etc on where we were in the music.

In reality, we had it laid out enough that our "DJ" could just hit pause at certain times and then play again once we were done whatever we needed everyone's attention for.
Where else did you use the hanging corsages? That's what we are going to go with. Maybe do the chair covers & add additional color scarfs. Not positive yet.

The swing bar is a great time. Just make sure that you eat somewhat late so that you get there when the band is playing music and not during the "show" for the evening...
I hear the swing bar is a great time. What time does the band start playing?

I wasn't aware of that either. I have a cd I'm playing anyways. Just with piano music I found we really like for the ceremony. I got alot of decisions to make only 2 1/2 months left and not sure what to go with for some things yet. With a burned cd you never know if it will play in their cd player. Maybe someone can find that out for you since there are several of us on here getting married in May.

I'm planning on getting BB17 (white irises bouquet), but I'm having four purple calla lillies added. The original price of the bouquet is $80, but with the extra flowers it's $100. I'm also getting the bouquet holder ($15). I ordered all of my amenities from the Lomas Travel site.
