RIU Palace Photographer

Hey RIU brides! I am looking to see some pics from the photographers that the RIU Palace Las Americas uses for the weddings. I have only been given photos of the hotel. I noticed that for Dreams, a guy named Juan takes amazing pictures!! I want that!!!

 

Any former RPLA brides have pics they can share to get a feeling for the photographer? Any brides-to-be have an idea of the photography offered?

most of us hired outside photogs instead of getting the hotel photography package.

 

so i do not know who riu's onsite photographer is.

I have some pics from the hotel photographer at Riu Palace Riviera Maya if your interested from 2 brides. No photos from the Riu Palace Las Americas though. But, I've been to 2 Riu's on vacation (Ocho's Rios and PV), they all basically look the same, with the exception of the beach of course.

The problem is that they do not allow outside photographers, so you have to go with the onsite at the Riu... How do you get around that?

they will allow outside photographers if they are a guest at the resort. So, just put your photographer up for a couple nights and you should be good to go.

They want to eliminate people from hiring local photographers that are just coming for the day because they want the couple to use the resorts photographers, which usually aren't very good.

in RM that is what you have to do is have them as guests at the resort.

Thanks for your imput....I will see if I can get the WC to send some pics from the photographer or a website or something....having trouble hearing back from her....
