I am a newbie and glad to be here. Although this site is way overwhelming! I was referred by Sol Tamargo hopefully my wedding photographer. She only books 1 year out and I'm in April 2009. Any advice on Barcelo

If you want Sol to take the pictures of you ceremony and the reception you may want to check out a different resort. Barcelo is absolutely beautiful but they don't allow outside vendors. So all the brides who were getting married at Barcelo and having non-resort photographers (which i would highly recommend getting to begin with) were taken by their photographers outside of the resort to take pics. So it is inconvenient, and you won't have professional pictures of the ceremony and the reception but it's a trade off for the excellent wedding coordinator, the service and absolutely amazing grounds....
