Sparklers

I found one post on this but it's from about a year ago. For those of you that had sparklers at your wedding, how did you organize it? I was thinking about walking under them when we exited or maybe have everybody light them during our first dance. I'm trying to come up with a cute little saying or rhyme to attach to the sparklers to explain to my guests when to light them. Any ideas?

I am also using sparklers but only for my entrance. They will be handed to by bridal party but if i come with something I'll let you know

Nothing special, it was just a way to wrap up the night.

People lit their spraklers and waved them around to whatever song we had playing at that point.

They were fun.

Not sure I would want to walk under them as a few sparks did hit me and they burned a little.

Does anyone know where to get them in the Cancun area? I don't think the TSA will let you travel with them, even in your checked luggage...

when we went to cancun for our site visit and couldnt find them anywhere, they say that you can only find them at the end of the year... luckily enough paula v left us some for our wedding

Don't forget to remind guests (somehow) to not set them on the tables.. they could burn the tablecloths and you could end up paying allot of money to replace them. Perhaps a pretty bucket with sand.

Sparklers are kind of a holiday thing in MX but you can definitely get them! Try asking your WC to contact fireworks companies, they would be the best source for sparklers year round.

Also like cheese_diva mentioned, these will be VERY hot when they finish burning and will def burn! a bucket with water or sand will work great to cool them completely before disposing of them.
