Great job! That is the best feeling in the world....smile29.gif

for my chocolate cravings I have started buying the 100 calorie packs of the fudge shop cookies and its just enough to not go overboard!

I went to the gym again tonight...5 miles. I really hope to lose another 10 pounds this month!

Everyone is doing great. Let's keep up the good work Ladies!!!

So although I haven't had a ton of time to workout lately, I just gave up all snacks and desserts for Lent. Well, let me rephrase that - all bad snacks and desserts. I'll have yogurt, fruits & veggies as my snacks, nothing else - not even those 100 calorie snacks. Like the soda, I have to give things up "all or nothing." Oh, and speaking of soda, I've just passed the 4 month mark. I can't believe I've gone that long without any soda at all, not even a sip.

I worked out this morning too (only 30 minutes on the treadmill since it's been awhile since I worked out.) I wanted to slowly get back into it rather than being sore tomorrow. I also took next week off of work so I have some time to workout everyday now. Yippee!!! I need to get back into this since my first dress fitting is on the 23rd of this month. Wish me luck!

  • 3 weeks later...

I joined Nutrisystem again. Although I had some issues with it feeling like "astronaut food" I decided to give it another try. And since I already tried a large variety of their foods the last time I ordered, this time I just ordered the foods I liked best. So far, so good. But I started my new job this week and have already gone out to lunch twice. I'm trying to be good though. Still no snacks and no soda. I don't know how much longer I can this up. I miss my diet coke and chocolate chip cookies. As long as I can make it to the wedding, I'll be happy. Uuuggghhhh!!!!

Jen - You're so-oo close! You can do it! And once you're in Mexico, you can eat anything you want! Seriously... no deprivation once you're out of the country! When is your last dress fitting? That was really the point when I stopped trying to lose and just worked on maintaining. For me, that meant eating healthy breakfast and lunch, with some splurges at dinner. The woman who did my alterations basically told me if I kept losing weight, my dress wouldn't fit. That was all I needed to cool down on the weight loss.

Besides, I've seen your BD photos... you look incredible! You're done girl... stop starving yourself and just try to maintain all the hard work you've already done :)

Thanks! I actually went clothes shopping the other day and was down another size, so that made me feel good. The problem is, I have a number in my head for what I want to see on the scale and I'm not even close yet. I don't mind doing Nutrisystem and working out, it's just hard sometimes.

My next dress fitting is in 2 weeks so I'm going to kick it up a notch these last two weeks and see how much I can lose. Then I'll just maintain from that point.

Thanks for your help and encouragement ladies, it means a lot to me. (I feel like I have my own little cheerleading group cheering me on.) LOL!!!

thewave.gifYay!!!!! You should be so proud of yourself!! Just take it one day at a time otherwise it will be too overwhelming. Losing a dress size is awesome!!! Keep it up and you will be there in no time!
