Thinking of renting linens and bringing with me...

No problem, You would use the resort's plain linens then put a colored square over the top. From the guests view, siting down, all they will see is the color, not the white/ivory underneath.

Here's a really plain example:

Erin,

yeah that is part of the problem, i think i have to solve the under linen problem b/c the resort's linen's don't go as long as the ones you are showing in the picture. i dug out the pics and uploaded for you.

here is a photo of where our reception is going to be - we are going to have the lanterns, etc but these are the white linens they have sad.gif

Alyssa, I'm frequent this knottie page ofthen Bio she had her wedding in Maui and ordered linens from www.bbjlinen.com

She posted these other links on her website too. Hopefully you can find one that will deliver the linens to your location. I don't think its a great idea to rent them at home and personally carrying them with you to HI.

I agree, the chairs are so nice. So here's a thought. Is the wood on the tables in good condition? If so, would you consider (and would they allow you) to use a table runner? That might look very nice and save you a ton of money. You could probrably find some really nice runners at Peir One (I love that store).
