questions on Dreams Los Cabos

I've inquired about having my wedding at Dreams Los Cabos. The price was outrageous, but I really like that place. Are others finding this also. I noticed on the Dreams wedding site that they include so many things for a small price so I'm wondering why I am getting a quote like this. Any suggestions?

what price was outrageous? dreams cabo is one of the least expensive places to get married...the rate to stay is not cheap but it is really worth it since it is an all-inclusive.

What was their quote (if you don't mind me asking)?

 

I'm doing a room black and staying for 7 days, so our honeymoon suite is actually free. We are booking a lot of our own vendors, so we decided on just getting the free wedding package. So all we have to pay is $25pp per private event. We are doing a private Welcome/Casino night dinner, the ceremony, and the reception. So in total, we are paying $75pp. For all that, i think it's reasonable.

where else will you be able to do a private event with a 3-4 course meal and open bar for $25 per person?

Cabo isn't one of the cheapest vacation spots, but it's very affordable given what is available. if you still want Mexico, but want even more inexpensive, try considering somewhere like PV - i think it's less expensive than Cabo.

I agree with what Tammy said...when you factor in the food/drink/event costs you are really saving A LOT! of $$$$.....the room prices are high, but you are getting the wedding portion for practically nothing compared to location venues elsewhere. It is a good value.

The quote came to almost $14,000 for 50 people. There was a $3000 coordination fee and $28per person per location. So it really came to $116 per person. And I only requested the bare minimum, no extras. I guess it was the coordination fee that caught me off guard. The regular price per person was definitely reasonable.

Are you sure you were booking directly with Dreams? There is no coordination fee..

what did that include? a photographer, videographer?

who charged the $3000 coordination fee? not the resort.

angela is right...where did you get this fee? we have had dozens and dozens of brides get married at dreams cabo so we pretty much know all the details on what it entails to get married there.
