I need a cake cutting song???

This is kind of silly but the DJ wants to know what song we want for cake cutting? I'm kind of sick of making decisions & time is running out, can you help!!!??

How about just whatever and turn it down slightly? You know, nobody is really paying attention to the music.. they're just watching you cut and feed each other cake which takes about 3 minutes.. then the DJ can just turn up whatever song he was playing and guests can go back to dancing or wait for cake..

not sure what kind of music you like but.....i am a huge music freak and i love my music. for my cake cutting we are playing "love you madly" by cake. one of my favorite bands. just a thought!

be careful - Ive seen (horrible) dj's play this dreaded "the groom cuts the cake" song to the tune of a nursery rhyme. - I'd suggest giving him something so you can avoid him selecting his own. -

of course, if he is a good dj though, you wont have to worry about that!! lol

We had pie instead of cake and cut it to Cherry Pie by Warrant. Nothing like a little WT at a wedding! But I mean, who doesn't love that song?

what about Ain't love a kick in the head by Sinatra, I mean the cake cutting is the funniest part of the wedding since you have just promised to love and cherish, you're all dressed up and you shove cake in each others faces.

The last 2 weddings I have been to both used "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies, which was cute, but I think quite popular. Maybe Sugar Pie Honeybunch? A Whole New World (ALaddin!) or another Disney song? Lion King, Circle of Life?? Mack the KNife? Build me up Buttercup? Sorry, my suggestions are all over the place.... I really like teh Cherry Pie suggestions! lol! Loved it!!!

we went with a mexico theme and used "tequila"! We both did a shot of tequila before cutting the cake, it was fun!
