Anyone else going to wear their e-ring on their right hand?

Recommended Posts

So I pretty much have given up on trying to find a wedding band that complements my e-ring. I could have one custom made but I don't know what would even look nice. So I think I am just going to wear my e-ring on my right hand and just start searching for a band that looks good on its own for my left hand. Is anyone else doing this?

I'm thinking about it too. Unless we custom make a band, I won't find one that sits flush to the E-ring. I don't want an "enhancer" because I want a wedding band I can wear without the E-ring on occasion. Since my E-ring has a lot of detailing on the side, any ring sitting next to it would hide the detailing anyway, and I don't want that either.

I was actually content with just using my E-ring as my wedding band, but Frank wants a separate wedding band for me. So now I'm exploring what to do....

I was also just content with my e-ring doubling as the band too but FI wants me to have a separate one. Plus we like to travel alot and it would be nice to wear just the band and leave the e-ring at home. I have a 3 stone princess cut ring and the middle diamond sits out a bit from the side diamonds and nothing sits flush with it so I know how you feel. I think a simple wedding band for the left hand is the way to go.

i am wearing them seperately for 2 reasons...

1. my ering is a custom emerald and hard to fit a wedding band next to.

2. i've always planned on wearing them seperate. i don't know if it is a cultural thing but all the women in my family as well as tons of women that i know do it this way. i like the way it looks and i like having bling on both hands! :)

My wedding band will not allow for an e-ring -- it just wouldn't look right.

However, my e-ring was stolen last year from the tanning salon ... so I am wearing a CZ replica for now.

As an anniversary gift, FH will replace the e-ring, but when he does I will wear it on my right hand since the wedding ring is so detailed and intricate.

My band matches the pave of my e-ring. Mostly because we bought 2 of the pave bands and had a diamond set in one. I did that so I could just wear the band to work after we are married. But the pave is only on front half (which is what I wanted)...that means, that the band spins and doesn't line up right all the time with e-ring. So, now I want to get them soldered together. So I figure, I'll buy a fake band to wear at work.

And Tami, I absolutely love your wedding band too!
