Its "the blowers daughter" I have the CD and its wonderfull. I was thinking that too but if you listen closely to the song it is about a man and women's fallen relationship. The song is gorgeous though, maybe people wont listen to the actual words. That Damien Rice album has to be on my top 5 albums ever.

This actually brings up a question I have. How do you get the song played? The Dj isn't starting until after cocktail hour so I don't think there will be speakers set up for the ceremony. How does this work?
Kate, I have the same question. I am thinking of bringing our own CD player to use. I can't get the WC to answer that question for me.

I can't decide if I want music or just the sound of the ocean.
I like the instrumental version of "bless the broken road" .. Amazon.com : Music Sampler
As well as "kiss the girl" instrumental by Menken

Yeah, I am aware of it...it goes as "I can't take my eyes off of you" but then at the end of the song the last words are "Until i find somebody else"...lol However, most of the people don't listen to the words and since I love the music I decided to go with it. I have a proof that words don't matter - my FI is a photographer and one of the brides chose this song for her DVD slideshow...lol we had to cut it out

It truly is such a great song. I just pulled the CD out of my dusty collection and listened to it. You might not actually make it to the end of the song if you use it to walk down the aisle to anyways. And everyone will be so concentrated on you that they wont be paying attention to the lyrics anyhow.

Selecting songs has been an ongoing project. I keep changing my mind. FI wants to enter on a "special" song as well... Anyone's FI want a song other than what you had in mind?
OMG Jenetta that is in my top 3!! Love that song! It's either that, Spend My Life With You by Tamia & Eric Benet, or The Air I Breathe by Teena Marie - the most beautiful love song I know but I'm hesitant because I cry listening to that in the car and I don't know if I can handle it at the wedding!!

Our parents walked down to an instrumental version of "Here, there and Everywhere" by The Beatles. Our bridal party walked to an instrumental version of "There is Love" by Peter, Paul & Mary, and I walked down to Canon in D by Pachelbel. All were played by our friend on acoustic guitar.
