I just scheduled an appointment for next Sunday morning. It's $48 for 35 minutes.

Now I'm scared my cat is going to tell her "I don't like it when my mommy screams obscenities at me." Eeek. Or maybe it will be "I hate the dog." I will definitely keep you all posted on this one!

Christa, our kitty has the same problem with licking herself and scarting around the neck area. vet said it may be food allergies or flea allergies. All it takes is 1 bite and the fleas are horrible in NW Florida. We treat her once a month with frontline. I'm excited for your apt. with Dawn. I may have to do this too if you have positive results like tammy

I can't wait to hear about your appointment. I wanted to do this for my dogs but FI thought I was crazy. I don't have any immediate issues but just thought it was cool sounding. I would love to be able to communicate more effectively like them.

Like damnit- these are good shoes. Respect them.

OK, so I spoke with Dawn, the pet communicator this morning. I only told her that I wanted to know what was making my cat uncomfortable & what I can do to fix it.

Brittany told her that she's not uncomfortable, she's extremely bored & agitated. She wants to go outside & hunt. This makes total sense since she's gone from being an indoor/outdoor cat to strictly indoors. I asked if she would like to go outside on a leash (the only way we can do it right now) and she said "oh, like the dog? we could try that as long as you don't have to carry me to get there" Interesting.

I asked Dawn to reassure my cat that we will be moving in about 4 months to a place where she can go outside. Her reply was "that's great, but I'm going to be like this for the next 4 months." LOL! We also talked about food & she said that Brittany likes her food, but she just wants more of it, that she is never satisfied. We also talked about the excessive self grooming & scratching & she said that basically she's just bored.

We had tons of time left so I had her talk to our dog who said that she is very happy & loves her family. The only thing is that she doesn't like where we live because she hears sounds of other people all around us & it stresses her out because she doesn't know what is "her territory." She told Dawn that she knows we'll be moving soon, so she's looking forward to that. We also asked the dog about the cat & she said that the cat is ver "mean spirited." LOL! She says she's tried to extend friendship many times & only gets threats in return. So true.

Anyway, it was very interesting & it all made a lot of sense.

christa, that is so great...it made sense to me as well...i like that she can communicate with the animals so you can reassure them. and it is nice to know that the problems are fixable.

Thanks Tammy for referring me to Dawn. I was very impressed with how accurate she was about things that I purposely didn't tell her in the begining. Like she knew we lived in an apartment/condo on the second floor because of what the cat told her. So, basically, WE ALL HATE THE APARTMENT!!
