Engraving Wedding Bands?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find out how/where I can have his band engraved. I mentioned the idea of having a cross etched into the band in the center and he really liked it, so I'd like to have that done for him as well as a line from the lyrics to his favorite song on the inside of the band. Anyone know a site or even a retailer/chain that I could have it done?

The line is from some 80's power ballad by Motley Crue (ya, don't laugh...he is a die hard fan and I hate them, but the song itself isn't too bad and the lyrics are sweet. He says it reminds him of me, so I can live with it *wink*). The song is "Without You".
oh my goodness! that's so funny! i love motley crue, dan wants "without you" to be our wedding song but i had to put my foot down. i like them but c'mon! but yeah the lyrics are really sweet.

I would definitely check your local jewelers before chain jewelers. In my experience, they will put more attention to detail into the engraving. And, if they don't offer it at their store, you are likely to get a solid recommendation as to where to go instead.

Are you kidding me? I had no idea others were suffering like I am! rofl.gifhahahaa...Everytime I mention something to do with music for the ceremony or reception, all he says is "Without You". I'm like, "Honey, we cannot use the same damn song for everything. And if we did, it wouldn't be that one." Grrrrr!

I'll check with the jeweler who set my ring and see if he does it or can refer me to someone who can. I'm thinking it should be simple enough...(I hope)
