What style of dress is this?

My friend is getting married next May and wants a dress like this 10K custom made one for much less... hehe.. so what style is the top, is it called ruched? Or something else?

I guess I would say ruched....gathered and pleated are the other words that come to mind...although it's not really a proper pleat...

i'd call it a vertical ruching or a loose pleat... it's a lovely dress!
