Dancing and Partying at Las Caletas?

Recommended Posts

Yup Jamy, the first thing I thought when I read this thread was "She obviously hasn't heard about Jamy & Ann's weddings!"...

Also, I think most professional photographers aren't going to focus on the crazy drunken make-a-fool-of-yourself dancing...most people don't really want to see that after the fact!

Julie said it well - some people don't dance, no matter where they are so don't use the location as a barometer for that. Know your guests - I know mine, and they could start a dance party on the sidewalk...put them on a dance floor in the jungle and watch out! We aren't the funky chicken kind of crowd but we definitely got down - from the 4 year old to the 68 year old.

A party boat with open bar and loud bumping music in Mexico is not a buzz kill. Get on one and you'll see what we mean!! If your guests are party people they won't shut down once they get on the boat. If anything the party will intensify! Shoot, we were doing shots on the boat home with the minister...and yes, I was grinding all on the captain (who was a hottie by the way)!

My crowd drank to excess, danced til the boat docked to go home, and I won't get into the sex again....read the LC thread for that :o)

If you bring a party crowd to LC, the only problem you'll have is picking a club for the afterparty......I suggest The Zoo where we went and partied until 5am. See my Zoo review in the PV section.

I'll add some pics of our crowd.

Best wishes in your planning,
Jamy
I knew Jamy would come to the rescue!

exactly, Sarah ... that's what I was thinking. What pro-photog will capture people slopping alcohol all over themselves!?

I haven't posted pics yet, but we just got married on the 5th of this month. Our guests danced the night away, both at our reception and on the boat ride home. A group of us eventually landed ourselves at the resort bar to continue the party...

I have to agree with all of you here as well - LC is NOT a downer at all!!!! It is awesome - we didn't have a lot of dancers in our group - we were definitely more laid back, but we still had an amazing time! Our boat ride home was not the party it could have been - simply because the ocean was too rough on the ride back - but we did have a few people dancing at the back of the boat - we are lucky we didn't lose them off the end!!!!

Anyway - just wanted to throw my 2 cents in...
