I would suggest making OOT bags filled with stuff that is specific to Maryland. I went to a wedding in Baltimore this summer and our bag had crabcake mix in it (sorry, I can't remember what else right now). When my friend did bags for her wedding in Philly, she put in things specific to Philly: Hershey's candy, Utz potato chips, etc.

If you're going to have your wedding in Ocean City, you could also keep with the beach theme and I know you have plenty of ideas for that!

Shelley,

I did paper bags from ac moore (we were staying at a green hotel, so I tried to go with the whole green eco friendly thing).

I went to the local tourist place and got some brochures, then I put two bottles of water in each bag, my grandmother made cookies, and we put a printed welcome letter with info about the wedding weekend. They were simple and plenty since we still did favors at the wedding.

We also only gave them to people that stayed at our hotel, some of our family just drove in for the day.

here's the only picture I have of them.
