Christine I am so very happy for you, congratulations!

Thanks again everyone, we got official confirmation from the Dr. yesterday and have now told just about all our parents (my mom is at a conference this week, so she will find out today). So far everyone is really excited and cannot believe we got pregnant so quickly (neither can we).

My dad is excited because the baby is due right around his birthday and since this will be his first biological grandchild he is hoping to share his birthday with her (he thinks its a girl) my brother is adament that its a boy (I told him he is biased towards men)

Anyway, thank you again for all the good wishes, I think Will and I have finally hit the excited point!

I will keep you all updated, my first appointment is Oct 29.

It is very exciting, isn't it, Christine! My first appointment & ultrasound is also on the 29th!

In Quebec, the mother has 1 year of maternity leave + father has 5 weeks.
