I am with you guys too...when there is just so much going on in your life it seems sex is low priority. For us gals (me at least) it very mental to have sex and for guys it seems just physical. I don't mean that they don't love us...just I think it's easier for them to do it whenver even if they are tired or stresses.

With working full time, school full time, planning this wedding (which I am doing very little right now so I don't explode), I feel fat and i just can't get on a great eating and exercise routine. My grandma is very sick and hospice has given her less than 6months to live so in addition to the emotional side...we are trying to share grandmasitting duties to relive my mom....it's just so much to think about and tackle that sex is hard.

Sorry to ramble on...but I put 1 x a week and honestly that's about right maybe it goes 2 on rare occasions...but even so, I do it eventhough I don't really want it. It's me in the relationship...I just am not that into it...and I have a hard time clearing my mind.

I at least feel a little better from reading these posts though because it seems I am pretty average?

usually 2-4 times a week depending on how stressful work is...

even when i was 8 months pregnant it was 1-2 times a week.

after the baby came you would think DH would cut me some slack but we are intimate 2-3 times a week because i think my giant boobs turn him on...and he says he is just so in love with me right now because i gave him a baby. monkey.gif

Did they check for cysts, tears in the ligaments, etc?

I went through the same thing earlier in the year. For a few months out of nowhere it just HURT. I thought it might be a cyst, but got checked out and that wasn't it. In fact, like you, drs said my body was physically fine. I guess I could chalk it up to some mental thing, but I really don't think that was it.

No matter what position we tried, it was just painful. Sorry if this is TMI, but I swear, it felt like he was going to go right through my body. It felt like his penis had gotten longer, or my vaginal canal had gotten smaller. It was really very strange. There also wasn't a problem with lubrication or anything. Anyway, we actually just took a complete break for awhile and when we started to TTC it was no longer painful.

Anyway, sorry for the detailed info! But just wanted to let you know I've been there as well, although I still have no clue why!!

That sounds just like it. It is awful! Luckily it is not everytime we have sex, but it happens more than it doesn't. They did check for cysts, and everything looked fine. Hopefully it will just pass...for both of our sakes.

I haven't read the comments yet, cuz I don't want them to influence what I say. I can say for sure, that it isn't as often as Matt wants it. I have put on weight since we got engaged and am VERY uncomfortable with my body. Plus stress of work (things are really hectic right now), school (I hate it), traveling about 3 hours to and from work every day, wedding planning, and home renovations. By the time I get home, I just don't want to do ANYTHING. I think everyone goes thru times like that though, and this will pass.

We used to have sex often, like everytime we saw each other. Now it averages about twice a week, the occasional extra thrown in. It isn't that I dont want to (although, sometimes i don't), but i am just too damn busy!
