S'mores anyone?

I know that the Hilton offers a s'mores bonfire thing. So I asked Dreams if they could do it. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about at first, which leads me to think they haven't done it there before, but once I explained it they said they could do it at one of their fire pits for $8 pp for 4 hours. I think it'd be a nice welcome event.

So, I was wondering what your thoughts are on having a s'mores station. If you had one, was it worth it? I think it would be cool, but then I think maybe people won't feel like eating chocolate if it's hot. Is that a weird thought or no?

I asked Mariana about doing it, and you're right- she had NO idea what I was talking about. We explained it, but decided against it because if we did it, it would have to be by the little beach bar, and the bonfire there isn't huge. Also, we would have had to pay the $22 per person for the open bar, on top of whatever she was going to charge for the s'mores. I just didn't want to spend that much, when I knew my guests were going to be tired from arriving that day (that was going to be our welcome thing...).

On the night everyone arrives, we are doing a short beach bonfire thing (at the Hilton). We are doing ceviche station, fajita station, mexican corn station, and then smores. Its not really dinner, but enough food for light snacks. We are doing open bar, but just beers and margs. We are only doing it for an hour and a half because I figure that everyone will want to go out in cabo that night.

I'm actually having my bonfire and s'mores station (at the Hilton) after our wedding reception. I'm sure most people will still be stuffed from dinner but I liked the idea of having it there in case anyone is looking for a snack.

love love this idea it was in one of the magazines i cant remeber i tore it out it was so cute on the idea of a candy table little jars filled with marshmellow ... would dreams provide all the stuff that goes with it like sticks,marshmellow,grams or do you have to bring it (silly question i know)

I don't even like s'mores, but I think it's the cutest idea. Has anyone done this at the Imperial Suite? They have a fire pit off to the side.

But I think it's adorable! For anyone that doesn't want a "bonfire" but instead, just wants a station, it's just tooo freaking cute!

I ripped that picture out of a magazine too!! If any Cabo Surf brides had a bonfire, please let me know. Maye told me that they can do it, but I'm not sure if I have to buy everything at Costco or what.
