How much did you spend on your invitations?

I spent ~300 with postage for 100 invites (we only sent 80 of the 100). I got them from Invitations by Dawn - Unique Theme Wedding Invitations and Accessories

I have had soo many compliments on them and I love them too!

Lauren - I want to do this as well, but Amy (amy&andy) posted that she thinks her postage was about $3-3.50. I have 140 invitations to do, so that would be over $400 just in shipping! Let me know if you find out they are cheaper, cuz they are def the invites that I want to do!

I am only paying for postage for my invites. My dad is a professional printer, and he is printing our invites. They had extra paper and envelopes at his work, so we don't even have to pay for supplies.

The invites I like on OlioStyle were quoted at nearly $7.50 each. We'll be sending out about 40 invites, so it IS do-able, but still more than I want to spend.

I'm not terribly creative, but I am pretty sure I could manage assembling the invites (will have them cut / printed elsewhere). Somthing like this, for example (but in our colors of orange & lime green...mmm, fruit salad, tasty!)

As for calligraphy - I think it is a total waste of $$$. We'll hand-write ours. And I'm not above using labels, either!
