DVD invitations?!?!

I'm sorry, I am a little burned out today - if you are asking if I have a set date for when I want these out, then not really... the STD's are going out this week and I emailed all of my friends to remind them to book their flights.. I feel comfortable with aiming for the invitations to be out by December

I love, love, love this idea! FI and I almost did this for our Save-the-Dates. We found several companies that we could have sent our "footage" to and they would have made them for us. Off the bat, I remember Inviting Trends as one of the names. They were a little pricey for STD's though.

This is such a fun idea! I wish FH would do something like this. He is way too shy. I say go for it. I think it will be really fun to watch.

Thats great then, you have plenty of time to do them and to incorporate any other suggestion for them that you want. I think you should do it, I would love to get one through the post from someone I know, very unique and something people can watch for years to come.

Thanks Jackie! I am going to look into that company right now... Last night I talked to FI and he said he would definitely do it if it's what I want, but he was also worried that too many people wouldnt play the dvd... I think I am going to look into pricing and stuff this week and still be open to more traditional invites

Like everyone on this forum always says, sometimes too many ideas makes it impossible to make a decision!

Can'tHardlyWait, did you end up doing this for your invites? If so would you mind posting some details about how you made it happen? I am working on DVD/movie STD's for our wedding...we are making a 'movie trailer' to ask guests to come to the event, and are making it compatible with both DVD players and computers for easy viewing. I found packaging for the DVDs and inserts for the front cover of the DVD case, and figured I could put all of the relevant information there too just in case. Any tips, ideas on content, mailing, formatting of the DVDS, etc., would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
