Did you see each other before the wedding?

Recommended Posts

Did you stay in seperate hotel rooms the night before and avoid each other the day of the wedding?

I don't want to feel like a captive in the hotel room until 4:00. I also want to eat breakfast & lunch at the hotel buffet without having to coordinate our schedules. Do you think it's worth it to not see each other until the wedding? I was thinking maybe we would just not see each other between lunch & the wedding, once I started doing my hair & makeup & put on the dress.

What did you guys do or plan on doing? Will guest get upset if they see you hanging out together on the morning of the wedding?

I thought about having the wedding early to not have to worry about it. I'd like to be able to hang out at the beach in the morning. I just don't want to feel like I need to sit in the hotel room & watch TV.

We did, we stayed in the same room the night before, we got up and had breakfast together, went off for a couples massge and then walked the beach before we seperated to get ready. Ot us it was more about the entire day, spending it together. We also wanted a little time for just us before the family was there. I wouldn't have changed a thing

We went back and forth on this. It was important to DH but not to me.

However, both of us were glad with our choice. We stayed together, woke up, went for a walk together on the beach and sat down and talked (my dad had a drama episode and it bothered my DH so it was good we were together and talked and he felt connected to me). After our walk, he dropped me off at the restaurant where I was having brunch with the bridesmaids and then we didn't see each other or talk until I walked down the aisle.

It was sweet all the way around.

But what you do is really just up to you.

That sounds like what I had in mind. Spend the morning together & maybe have an early lunch together & then go our seperate ways until the ceremony. An early morning walk along the beach sounds like it would be so romantic.

We stayed with each other until it was time to get ready, we had the kids with us so we hung out with Liam and then had lunch together. I left the boys with him and took the girls with me. When Bria was ready Everton came to my room to drop the boys off, and pick Bria up, we kissed he told me to breath and off he went. I needed to see Everton, he calms me.

After that my girls and I played really loud alternative music and danced and sang while we got ready.(my mom had to leave because she was getting a headache, hehehe)

We saw each other. Actually we went to our wedding site together. We stayed at a private villa and I didn't have a wedding party. We went out to lunch with friends. No one was upset that we were together before the wedding, but honestly, I wouldn't really have cared if anyone was!

Do whatever you guys want! I'm so not a tradionalist :)

we will stay together the night before and have breakfast together, maybe go to the pool if we have time and then seperate when I have to go get my hair done. I think if we slept apart from each other I would be so anxious all night and get NO SLEEP, lol! But thats just me!
