I said 2 - 4. I think we are only going to hire a photographer for 2 maybe 3 hours basically because they are SO expensive. But we also have a lot of friends who are photographers coming to the wedding (we don't want to hire them otherwise they won't be able to drink and have fun) whom we plan on telling to take tons of pictures and burn them on disks for us.

 

But even if your friends aren't photographers I feel like you'll get so many pictures from everyone during the reception and everything that past hour 4 everythign has been shot...

Kash we did this and we have SOOOOOOO many pics. I don't even have my pro pics yet and I think I have like 500+ photos from three really nice cameras to sift through! 3 hours of pro pics was PLENTY! we had one hour of getting ready, half hour of ceremony, and 1.5 hours of sunset/portraits/everything pics.
