Calgary Brides!

Hello Everyone,

Well it has taken me a couple of days but I have finally finished reading all these posts (good thing it has been slow at work . So much great information on here! So I'm not technically a Calgary bride (Red Deer shhh) but I did get my dress at Ethos in Calgary. FI and I are getting married at the Bahia Principe in Jamaica, February 7th, 2010. My TA is through Flight Centre and we are booked with Nolitours for the package. I still have to find bridesmaid dresses but it's already getting late in the season, so if any of you ladies have recommendations that would be great.

ashley, welcome! sounds like you are well on your way! are you looking at getting bridesmaid dresses just at a regular store instead of a bridal store? hmmm...maybe have a look at le chateau? they usually have little dresses all year - but it depends on what colour you might be looking for. something summery might be a little more challenging. good luck!

I ordered from the Bridal centre, but did consider an online purchase.

Echo - I also need an alteration lady. Just for a bustle so I'd love to hear your recommendation!

Boo, before you order anything... I'm not sure if you checked out the Pashmina store on 7th ave? I haven't been there so I have no idea what their prices or quality is like, but someone mentioned the store to me last week. Since they're local, you could compare colors and quality and maybe even just pick up the extras you need from there

There is also a store in Sunridge Mall that had a huge selection of pashminas, I cant remember what it was called but thats where I got them for my Ladies.
