Dreams Riviera Cancun - Brides post here (new thread)

The gazebo is NO WAY near private. The beach location was and the set up is beautiful. The terrace is ok, but it sort of defeats the purpose of the beach destination wedding. IMO for what that is worth.

We will have about 16 guests. Have you seen a wedding in the garden? I have not heard anyone speak about it or see any pictures, but I would love that.

My wedding is on August 8..when should I start hearing from Ana for the final count? I am using a TA but feel like there hasn't been any contact with anyone in a while. Just getting worried because it is coming up soooo quickly!!!

The garden area is gorgeous, it is in the middle of the hotel, but there is not much traffic there. While we were there for the week we never saw an actual wedding there.

alisonjimmy, we were never able to get ahold of Ana for any details after the deposit was taken. BUT, with that said, we met with her the day before and set all the detail up. From food to flowers, music and final decorations. Ana is very effecient with all your details. She has a check list and covers everything and pulls it off wonderfully. The girls had their make up and hair done in the salon also. The hair was just like the pictures they took with them and the makeup felt "heavy" but looks amazing in the pictures. They are not cheap, but they looked gorgeous.

Anyone who is using the Ether frame for their sand ceremony kit (or has)...how did you glue it together? The link on the original forum is gone. Also, did you have any problem bringing it home? I wanted to use the sand from the beach but I'm afraid it won't be packed in there and it will all mesh together on the trip home. Any suggestions on how to seal it so it won't mix too much? Thank you!

anyone have any suggestions for a good website to get save the dates or wedding invites? they all see so cheesy to me. any help would be great
