Has anyone gotten married in the new Catholic chapel at the Gran Caribe

Just wondering if anyone got married at the new Chapel at the Gran caribe.

Would love to hear your thoughts and see some pics.

I am looking to do this! It is beautiful!! I haven't booked yet, but have the same question. I've looked EVERYWHERE and can't find anything like it.

 

I may have to suck it up and have my wedding in Cancun, even though it's not my first choice, just BECAUSE of this chapel!

Anyone I would like to see a photographers work at this chapel.

Any brave souls that have gotten married at the Gran Caribe Real Catholic Chapel please post your experience. Please please please pics and review of this site are greatly needed.

I just got married there in April and it was beautiful. I posted a review on this forum.

Unfortunately, I still haven't received my professional pics but my photographer promised I would get them this week (fingers crossed). I'll be sure to post them as soon as I get them. I know how you feel because I searched the world over when I was planning and couldn't find any reviews or pics.

My daughter is looking at Gran Caribe Real Chapel too just because of it's fantastic location and views. I talked to the wedding coordinator there and she told me that both the bride and groom would need permission from their priest in the US before they could get married there. The groom is catholic....my daughter is not so I'm not sure she can get married there. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Afaybik - I am looking at the Gran Caribe Real Chapel, but I am also not catholic. Was your daughter able to get married there even though she wasn't catholic? Thanks!

I am booked to get married at the Chapel on June 21, 2011!!! I was on vacation at the Royal and visited the chapel at Gran Caribe in June and it is beautiful!!

judging by her pics, and by me being there personally, it's a beatiful chapel!!
