Aisle decorations

Hi!

I'm having a hard time finding ideas for aisle decorations...

We are getting married in a gazebo and there is no sand to stick stuff in. I originally planed on doing pompoms:

But since I'm not able to stick anything in the ground... that idea won't work. I guess I could always attach it to the side of the chairs... what do you think?

Any other ideas? What did you do for your aisle?

Not sure about the aisle runner as the resort only has a red one and I don't really like it... I'm not sure about making my own either!

(I did a search and didn't find a thread like this... hopefully I'm not double-posting a topic!)

Im in the same boat as you...My resort is using a red Isle runner as well..Dunno if I will change it as of yet...But what about putting candle votive's along the isle...

I was thinking of bags lanterns but mine will also be at about 4:30 so that woudl be silly. Petals might be nice too though, but can you bring petals into mexico?

I think I am going to do flower petals. We are having an all white wedding and the contrast should be amazing!

They have over 6,000 wedding photos at a verity of resorts. Its where I got most of my inspirations.

 

Some of my aisle favorites are when the bride and groom have been married and they are walking back from the ulter and there are bright flower petals flying ever where.

Stephy - did you ever think about little buckets with sand in them to stick the pompoms in??  That might turn out cute.

Oh like little topiaries?! that does sound cute!

These were some interesting Isle decorations from one of our past Zoetry weddings...kinda fancy.

Oh I like the vases and flowers very pretty!
