Lisa, I actually do have a couple questions, if you don't mind .

 

How do the DJ/Announcements work? I am so used to the traditional US weddings where the DJ functions as the "host" (introductions, etc.). Did the DJ speak English or did you have someone from the wedding party make all the announcements? Also, did you bring all of your own music, and if so, did you bring an Ipod or CDs?

Our DJ spoke English and did do all the annoucments for us as far as the first dances and toasts. We brought an iPod and they were able to play all our music off of it for the dances, and dinner music. They did a great job!! They used a little of their own music and some of our guests brought some cd's that they were happy to use as well. We had our ceremony songs on our iPod too that Sandra hooked up somehow. The music was perfect.
