I've been working on boarding pass STDs over the past few days... and I'm going dress shopping next weekend!

I posted a few days back about the sound system - does anyone know if any MP3 player is compatible with the sound system or just an IPOD? Also, Aurora quoted us nearly $700 for the sound system to use for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - that seems excessive... anyone else get an equally high quote??

Hi. Speaking of sound systems. Where are the speakers during the ceremony? Off to the side? Where do they control the songs from? Can you hear it whole you're walking down the asile?

I can answer Taranyc's questions.... The speaker will be behind you and to the side, during your eremony. You will walk past it during your processional. There will be a man operating what looks like a key board.... you will hardy notice him. Yes you can hear it... It's a great option for muic and for your vows....otherwise guests would not hear your vows.

I had the resort use their own music... a collection of classical. I marched down the aisle to Cannon in D... it sounded great.

I thought the sound system is $150 for the ceremony and $240 for the reception. That is according to the wedding guide. You may want to clarify with them because that sounds outrageous. Also, does anyone have a welcome brochure/packet of information for guests that they would be willing to share? I am getting married on the 26th and leaving on the 21st. I plan on putting together something for my oot bags. I found a few cute letters on the other threads but I can't open some of them and others are for other resorts or locations. Any help would be appreciated!
