I spoke with Lauren today, she confirmed that the date I am requesting: 5/6/11 is open and she verified she received my contract and credit card payment authorization. But she said that she will send me confirmation next week. Does that mean I have the date reserved, or is it still iffy? I'm so worried, she told me the dates are booking up fast...smile43.gif

Don't worry, I just received my confirmation from Lauren on Friday for my January 31 2011 wedding. Your date will be fine as long as the pastor is available. I was confirmed for a legal ceremony, but I am thinking about getting married at home and having a symbolic ceremony in Punta Cana because Lauren told me I have to sign the papers at 11am for the legal ceremony and then I will have a symbolic ceremony at sunset that day. What kind of ceremony are you doing?

I requested a civil ceremony (w/the Judge)...I checked my bank acct today, and the money has been withdrawn, but I still don't have a confirmation. Do you mind me asking what she sent you as confirmation?

Did you receive a detailed list of a la carte options as well? can you pls pm that to me or email [email protected] It seems to take forever for a response. I'm getting worried my date will be booked by the time I really get some info from the resort :-(
Congrats on the booked date!!! I'm sure that pressure off ur back....now u just have to do all of the fun planning :-)

Yay another PPR bride!! There's so few of us on here...I'm glad you got your confirmation!

 

Bkbeachbride- I know the waiting sucks but it's worth it. I still want immediate responses from the resort and check my email compulsively...which a la carte prices did you want? I have the 2010 calculator and the a la carte dinner choices...not sure which you want. Let me know and I'll forward them to you!

Sorry ladies...I've got so much going on right now I haven't had as much time as I wish I did to be more responsive on the forum. But I do want to say congrats to you too! I hope we can keep in touch and help eachother along the way!
