Any 2011 Gran Caribe Brides?

Thought i would start a thread for anyone getting married at the Gran Caribe Real Resort and Spa in 2011, i know there is a 2011 thread already but thought i could start a thread were us Gran Caribe brides can share any information and planning ideas.

 

We are getting married in November 2011 but not decided on a wedding package yet or if i will book through a TA or direct with the resort, what's everyone else doing?

I am getting married Dec. 2010, but hey close enough! My entire wedding is pretty much planned and set, so if you have any questions let me know. I'm getting married at the gazebo at the Gran Caribe and having my reception at the villas terrace. I'm choosing the Luxury Wedding option (which is the most bang for your buck if you ask me). I have TONS of information, so whatever you need to know I can probably help.

We're getting married at the Chapel In January 2011 and having the reception at the Villas Terrace as well. We also chose the Luxury Package. Just wondering how long is your reception? Did you order color linen? Did you customize anything (flowers, centerpieces, decoration, cake, etc) that were not in their catalog? I've received some pretty high quotes for anything that wasn't in their catalog (which is understandable) but just wondering if you made any of these requests as well. Any info you provide me with would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Im getting married in November 2011 at the chapel and a beach reception. I havent made any decisions on any of the details but any advice would help. I chose the royal catholic wedding, since we have are doing a catholic ceremony, but am going to look into the luxury package also now...
