Mugs?

I would like to know if anyone from Canada has ordered them and how much it costs to get them through customs.

I'm from calgary & ordered them a couple of weeks ago. We ordered 60 with designs (names, date, picture) They are 16oz with handles. The total came to $240.00 CAD with shipping. My delivery date is set for June 2nd so i'll let you know about customs when i get them....I was thinking i'd possibly have to pay the GST & that was it. We don't have PST in Alberta & if the items are made in the States we don't have to pay anything other then GST, PST for the items...atleast i'm hoping thats the way it works. I'm dreading having to pay another 100 for these mugs

If you could let me know the end cost that would be great!! I really really want to order these mugs but dont want to have to pay a bunch of money at the border!! Thanks!!

For the Canadian girls, if you go through the OOT bag shopping for Canadian girls thread a few girls list out the duty and taxes. It's pricey, but seems the cups work out to around $6, still cheaper than buying them here.

 

 

I also like the have and to hold saying. I was thinking of putting that on a tag attached to them. Then just having the cup say Playa Del Carmen 2011.

JKA Mexico wedding - I am using the travel mug I don't think you would want to go plastic because they don't have a lid on the cups. I know I would get sand in my drink with out a lid.

I just searched the forum & there is a girl from Toronto on here that said she paid $64 for brokerage fees at the border. Thats not too bad. I unfortunatley haven't recieved mine. Customer service wrote me a week after i placed my order & told me they were out of stock for the ones I ordered so I had to switch to a different mug...luckily they had my wedding color so it worked out.


I do have a question for other ladies who have ordered these. Did anyone have trouble getting the mugs through customs in Mexico?? I would give my in-laws some to take, but they don't have the space so i'll be packing them all in one bag...

I was just looking at4imprint.ca and it seem that there min order is pretty high on most travel mugs, like 50! So I'm thinking of ordering through discount mug once I have a final number on how many mugs I need to order as they don't have the min number for orders, plus there are discount codes that float around on this forum for that site.

 

The mug I was looking at would cost me $175.00 USD with shipping to CAD for 25 mugs. I don't know what the duty will be, perhads another 50? I don't know if these mugs are made in the US or not.

 

I signed up to get notifications on specials as well.

 

If anyone has any other suggestions for us canadian girls I'm all ears! lol

Do you have the template for your mug as I love it! Exactly what I was looking for except that we are going to add Runaway Bay Jamaica to it

 

Ordered 32 mugs from Discountmugs.com .. they shipped me 40 of them! Brokerage charge was $63, a little more that anticipated, but still definately worth it ~ I love my mugs!!!
