Which part of MP would you recommend? Your set up looked very well put together. Was that based on your input or the WC's? Did you have to get alot of extras for your decor?
Thank you :) My dress is by Maggie Sottero in diamond white. The style name is Daria but I think they just stopped carrying it because I can't find it on their website anymore. But if you do a google search for Maggie Sottero Daria you can come up with some shops that might still have it. I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'6". I was wearing 4" heels (Stuart Weitzmans) and I was still that much shorter than him! LOL! I'm not sure with over 70 people where a good location would be. I LOVED the Caribbean Terrace but I don't think it would accomodate large groups?? I actually got most of my ideas from other girls here on the forum and told my coordinator what I needed (if I wasn't bringing it myself). I'm working on a review right now so there will be more details to follow :)

Hey Veronica, thanks for adding me to facebook. I was so happy when you mentioned your dress was by Maggie Sottero. My first choice is by Sottero and Midgley. I can't wait to go try them all. I look forward to reading your review.

Hey Girls.. I am counting down now.. and my wedding day is coming up soon!!

What is this talk about the rooftoop terrace?!?!?!? Sounds like a big deal, info please!!

Also, I am ordering sand for my sand ceremony soon... I hope to purchase that by next week.. How much sand do you think I need??...I am getting two colors and we are (hopefully) pouring it into a memory box.

Next I am going to order sashes then the freeze dried flowers...

I am actually creating my own centerpiece, and I am still paying $60.

Your day is approaching fast...you must be so excited!!! You mentioned you are creating your own centerpieces...I would love to know what it is! Although my date is still a ways away, I am already thinking about ways to save money by especially in the areas that I can come up with DIY projects! My FI and I are on a tight budget so I'm looking for any tips or ideas my fellow future brides may have! Thanks and good luck!!! I hope you have a beautiful time away!!!

kgirl: i think that depends on where you are from. the ave. high in july is the low 90s. im from dallas, so to me thats comfortable weather. since you are from chicago, however....could be a different story. are you and your guests comfortable in that kind of weather?

I have several guests coming from Nevada (I'm sure they probably do not mind the weather) and several coming from New Jersey but most of us are from Chicago. Last time I went to Cancun was in October and I thought the weather was too cold. Heat we don't mind as much as long as it's not too humid.. undecided.gif

Hi! Does anyone else happen to have Cristina Suarez as their WC? I'm having a hard time having her respond to any of my e-mails, and with two weeks to go, it's getting a little frustrating....also, has anyone else had their reception at the Bugambilias Terrace? or the Venado Terrace? I'm booked at the Bugambilias terrace but am worried that it will be too big for my group of 30. I really wanted the same rooftop terrace that vgirl had, but it looks like someone beat me to the punch!

Hi Ladies-

Sorry I feel off the face of the Moon Palace planet but my life has been very busy, we bought our condo April 15th, had our AHR April 24th, and sometime in May I found out that I am pregnant and due Dec 7th. I just wanted to say congrats to the new brides and I do still plan on doing a review if I can ever find time to load photos for you guys. I did a very untraditional and budget friendly wedding-- so mine will be a ton different then most reviews and not as detailed.

Hope all your plans are coming together! Again congrats!

Veronica I loved your photos- you looked Beautiful!
