Perfect DW Manicure - OPI Axxium!

How soon before departing for the wedding would you ladies recommend having this done?

I am going the day before I leave because we will be in Punta Cana for 2 weeks so I want to make sure it lasts the whole time!

i just got my axxium pedicure done this morning. i it looks great! i got a french and i'm happy with how it turned out. it was more expensive than they'd originally quoted me, so it BETTER last the full time i'm in mexico.

my nails were starting to split and break, so i opted to get gel nails instead of the axxium on my hands. i did pink gel with a french. i'll be a good barometer for how long things last. i figured that my resort in mexico won't be able to fix axxium if something breaks, so i went with the safer bet. everything looks great an i'll be in mexico in 24 hours!

My mum is coming to visit at the end of June, so we're going to test out the OPI Axxium together then! Looking forward to it!

I feel like a completeeee noob but I am still confused about the nails. I called the salon and asked if they did "opi axxium gel nails" and she said yes and told me all about it. So I've booked that -- but after reading what you had done today...are gel nails and opi axxium different? I am getting complete "fake nails" on - I'm not keeping my own and covering them with that lacquer stuff (under the heat lamp).

I was quoted about 40 - but I'm just confused about what the difference is.
