Best foundation etc for photos

Everything makes me break out, even dermatologist prescription spf. Help!!

Mineral makeup is not recommended for wedding photos because they have light reflecting particles that can make your face shiny.

I do not know if I will be trying Armani, Mac, or Bobbi Brown for my wedding.

I just had a makeup trial with a makeup artist who used to work for MAC. She swears by Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover Foudation. It was so light on my face I barely knew it was there. I then got Boudoir photos done and it looked really good in pictures. You can get it online or at Sephora.

I have very sensitive skin. I bought the Smashbox foundation, brush, concealer, primer and the Make Up Forever setting powder. It has not made my face break out and I am able to DIY photo-ready make up. Very excited!

I'm a little confused on all this foundation stuff. I usually just put on a powder foundation and I'm done with it. So whats the steps? Primer, foundation, powder?

Great thread! Thanks for all the ideas! I usually don't splurge on makeup but since I am doing my own makeup for the wedding I wanted to get some good stuff:). Thinking about going into Nordstrom..probably MAC and have them do a trial to show me how to correctly apply and what is best for me for the big day!

Yes. If you have very oily skin, I would skip the foudation and use powder as the foundration
